#1 Sweetened Fluffy Omelet

When you think of Egg dish, you may come up with scrambled, boiled, grilled and omelet.

It actually started at Sushi restaurant to serve sweetened omelet. It is a good combination with vinegar flavoured rice.

Since the origin of sweetened omelet was established in Edo food culture, here is introduction of traditional omelet places at the Tsukiji fish market.

They cook omelet just in front of you and serve fresh from pan!
One slice (1/4 of a square pan size) costs only 100-120 JPY (roughly 1USD / 1Euro)

#2 Rice ball

Individually wrapped rice ball is easy to travel with you!
There are many flavours to choose from, for instance, Tuna Mayonnaise (tuna-mayo), Plum (Ume), Salmon (Sake).

What interesting is that rice part and seaweed (nori) part are separated with a plastic package when you see products in store. However, you can open with 3 steps and rice ball will be covered crispy seaweed when you eat!

You can buy at convenience stores or kiosk.

It cost around 100 - 200 JPY (appx. 1-2 USD / 1-2 Euro)

 

#3 Skewered Pineapple

Tired from too much walking? This is a totally good refreshment!

Hyakkaen is a fruit store located in front of Yurakucho station. (JY30 / JK25 /Y18)
They sell a gift package of fruit and at the same time they serve "to-go" fruit!
A fresh cut pineapple bar costs 100 JPY! (appx. 1USD / 1EURO)

#4 Soba noodle

Soba is healthy and light meal to fulfil your starve.
There are a lot of chain store at stations.

Komoro Soba chain started with quick stop by style shop right next to a stations.
There are 78 shops in Central Tokyo so you can easily find a shop. Opening hours are different from store locations, but from 5:30AM (at the earliest) to 23:00PM (at the latest).

Nada Fuji Soba is another noodle chain. it has a similar concept to serve
There are over 80 shops in Central Tokyo.

simple noodle bowl costs 300 JPY (appx. 3 USD / 3 EURO)
MORI soba (noodle served with a dipping source)
KAKE soba (boiled noodle served in a soy bean sauce based soup bowl)
